Welcome to Purepotions
The home of natural creams, ointments and oils

We make products formulated especially for use by those prone to dry skin. Our creams, ointments and oils are made from the very finest ingredients - many of them organic and local - with absolutely nothing unnecessary added ever.

Fragrance-free, paraben-free and not tested on animals, all our products are made in our own UK workshop and use the gentle goodness of herbs and natural oils rather than potentially harsh synthetic chemicals, so you can be sure that you know exactly what is going on your sensitive skin.

Founded by a mother who wanted to find an effective, safe, natural and non-steroidal moisturiser for her daughter’s dry skin, Purepotions has been producing its award-winning Skin Salvation Range for over ten years.

All of our products have been carefully formulated so they are also suitable for use by people who may be prone to eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and other dry or itchy skin conditions.

Purepotions - founded by a mother looking for an effective, safe, natural treatment for her daughter's severe eczema

Our Intensive Moisturising Ointment still uses the same simple ingredients as always but we’ve expanded the range to include rich, nourishing oils and soothing lotions to meet the different needs of our customers’ skin.

We use herbs and oils - such as hemp, chamomile, calendula, lavender and nettle - that have been used for centuries to feed skin with vital nutrients as part of a healthy skin regime.

Our beeswax-based ointment moisturises and protects delicate skin, locking in water and forming a barrier against irritants and allergens, while our softer, (vegan-friendly) shea-butter based creams are excellent as part of a daily moisturising regime to keep skin well hydrated and beautifully supple. We’ve also added a range of oils for those who need them:  Bath & Body Oil, Scalp Oil and Scar Oil, all wonderfully rich with natural nutrients.

Skin Salvation Range for Dry Skin

Although all our products are made from the simplest kindest natural ingredients and can be used from top to toe by children and adults of all ages, we also make a special Baby Skincare Range particularly for the delicate skin of our tiniest customers. Our sweetly-scented Lavender Nappy Salve is ideal for nappy changes and our luscious Chamomile Baby Oil is great as a beautifully mild daily cleanser which can also be applied after baths as well as used for baby massage.

From our first beginnings being sold at local market stalls to being stocked in hundreds of health food stores and pharmacies across the country, Purepotions’ products have been loved and praised by our many enthusiastic and loyal customers.

Daily Baby Skincare Range for Delicate Skin

Increasingly popular is our fab Rescue Range: four different salves in handy little tins, perfect for popping in a handbag or taking on your holidays. All four are made from locally-produced beeswax, olive oil and a variety of herbal essential oils, so they're gentle and safe for babies, children and adults to use anywhere on the body.

The salves come in a variety of beautifully-scented flavours and can be used as a general skincare or  as lip balms. We sell each rescue salve separately or as a set of four.

We are always busy researching and formulating new products to add to the range, and welcome any feedback and suggestions you might have. Please get in touch with us at customersupport@purepotions.co.uk or call us on 01273 623 123.
